One day, you noticed a few flecks of paint had come off. “No big deal,” you thought. “It’ll be fine.” At some point later, you start to see raw wood, the area is rough to the touch, and other people can start to see the decay. It’s easier to walk away and ignore it than to fix it. “I don’t have time.” “It’s not that important.” “It’s too difficult.” “I don’t have the right tools.” “Someday,” you mutter. God doesn’t intent for us to live with gaping holes in our lives. He wants us to live in peace with Him, each other, ourselves and our environment—it’s called “shalom.” Let him help you with your repair project.
